Domestic Warm Air

Warm air installations typically have a longer service life and fewer breakdowns than water-based systems. There are many householders who are advocates of this method of central heating.

On current models, instead of the basic on/off control on old warm air heating systems, they are electronically controlled modulating the fan speed and temperature. This makes the action of the unit much more subtle and provides comfort throughout the room. A basic filter is fitted as standard, however and electronic version is available that removes dust particles down to 8 micros (smoke size) to provide additional comfort. A correctly balanced system should not produce draughts and should not kick up the dust. These improvements offer you the homeowner significant comfort and economic benefits when upgrading.

New and Replacement Units

A heater unit can be replaced with its modern equivalent that in most cases will fit back into the same position as your current unit and would incorporate the advanced new features. This would all be completed with minimal disruption to your property.

A gas water heater can be contained within the casing of most warm air units; this will work in conjunction with a hot water storage cylinder. Like other gas central heating, an immersion heater can be fitted for backup.
